Christ Church opened on 5 July 1729 as part of the Fifty New Churches Act of 1711. A major restoration was completed in 2004 and the redeveloped crypt opened in 2015.

Tours

Tours groups of 10+ can be booked at least two weeks before.

Adults: £6 / Qualified Guides bringing their own group: £30 per tour / Self-directed Groups bringing their own guide: £30 per tour / School Trips are welcomed for visits exploring; faith, architecture, history, the Huguenots, immigration, and Christianity.

Open church

The Church is normally open to the public: Sunday 1-4pm - Sunday service times / Monday to Friday 10am-4pm except when private events are taking place / Tuesdays we are always open.

Please check with us that we are open (and not closed for an event or service) if you are travelling some distance to visit.

The Crypt Cafe is open:
Monday to Saturday: 10am-4pm / Sundays Closed
